Space Park Leicester participate in 32nd Pontignano Conference

Space Park Leicester and Executive Director Richard Ambrosi would like to thank the organisers, Chair and Co-Chair of the 32nd Pontignano Conference for the opportunity to participate in the annual event that brings together forward thinking leaders from across the UK and Italy.

The theme of this year’s event was ‘Creating Opportunities’ and it brought together key voices from government, business, academia, technology, culture, and policy at Villa Wolkonsky, in Rome in November, to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral relations between the UK and Italy, following Italy’s G7 presidency.

The pivotal topics covered included: regional, demographic, and social disparities, the role of the G7 in addressing global challenges like climate change and energy security, the growth of the creative economy, and the importance of higher education partnerships.
